Tectonics is an installation project of photographic objects that respond formally to the geologic forces that create mountains whilst representing an international border crossing. Tectonics seeks to negotiate through a dialog between the planes (cartographic and photographic) and the spaces (geographic and sculptural) the tension between the simultaneous perception of the mountains as landscape and border.
